It is New Year for us in the UK but at Wild Stories we prefer to follow nature and that's the inspiration for this month's classic fable, The Hare and The Tortoise.

The Hare creates this need to race and go fast and he is dismissive of things that are slow. We felt this was a good metaphor for the false start of January and the pressure to rush. We are in no rush here and Spanish culture celebrates that perfectly with their laidback nature and classic saying "no hay prisa" which is one of our morals this month.

Lesson 1 covers fast and slow words and phonics l & r.

Lesson 2 La Tortuga comes to life to help students understand why sometimes adjectives end in o and other times they end in a (adjectival agreement & grammatical gender).

Lesson 3 as always is our immersive Spanish story lesson where Georgie asks questions in Spanish throughout the story and learners reply in Spanish - magic!
